Second stop on the Greater Lansing Barrel-Aged Beer Trail Challenge (Feb 2020). Gorgeous February day highs near 50 degrees. Easy to find. Plenty of parking in front of and across the street from the brewpub. Not crowded. Lots of available tables and a small bar. Community oriented - they were setting up for a painting party on Sunday afternoon. Staff very friendly. Good selection of beers. Close to the house so I will visit again

My wife and I stopped here to check out their beers for our last stop on a mini-pub crawl this day. The place is located inside a dwelling-like building among other retail businesses on the main street of this small community. The pub has only been open a few months. The interior has a small bar with 5 stools, and the tables probably can hold about 40 people total. There is a little bit of a chemistry theme to the place with the beers listed on wall tiles as a 'beeriodic table' and the sampler glasses are 100 ml. beakers (about 4 oz).
There were 7 beers and one cider available so we ordered a sampler flight of all of them. Each was brewed well to its respective style, although we didn't put any into the notable category. All were very good except we felt that the dry Irish stout was a bit thin in mouthfeel and taste. The Pineapple Pale Ale surprised me because I had yet to ever like one of these when I've seen them elsewhere. The cider was also good, and it tasted like it had been blended with tequila.
There is no food here, but it is food friendly. There were two menus on the tables for places nearby. Growlers are available for beer to-go. We liked the place, and they are doing a nice job for a new-ish brewery. The place is worthy of a visit.
