great looking beer. smells floral and pithy, green and fresh. on palate is green tea, mint, grass, pine needles, dank resin, clean crackery malt, some grapefruity and mellow pineapple notes. very tasty!

Exceptional pale ale, intense hoppiness, super fresh hops, bitter finish, more like an ipa than a pale ale, refreshing.

my first beer from these guys, huge thanks to my brother for picking these cans up! its got awesome art, and its cool that they use all new york state ingredients, an unexpected bonus, i love how intense it is too, hoppier than anticipated for a lower alcohol pale, its relatively enormous in its hoppiness, classic northwestern high alpha and piney varietals, more of an ipa than a pale to me, bitey and bitter to finish, a lot of hops, but well balanced by a dry and starchy grain base, cleaner that what is trendy right now but still pretty sturdy for the lower alcohol. the hops are amazingly fresh, super bold, green, it would be too much if this wasnt so well carbonated, definitely more ipa than pale in flavor, bitter for sure. smooth feeling, lingers on the tongue, a little too hoppy to be refreshing, but i like the classic profile and the obvious freshness thats happening here with the grain and hops together. not overly unique in terms of hop flavor, but the proportions and low abv and new york ingredients make it one of a kind on the whole. ill be stoked to try more from these guys next time up this way, this one was a pleasant surprise, really good for how new they are! glad we have a four pack to drink!
