Cereal mashed with Jimmy Red heirloom corn harvested from Yancey County farmers, a "southeastern" IPA brewed in collaboration with Fonta Flora Brewery and sowed with heaps of Michigan Chinook, Crystal, and Incognito Mosaic hops.

Picked up a 16 oz single from the brewpub cooler on 6-4-25 for $4.60. No canning date; consumed 7-21-25. Cold stored since purchase.

Beer poured a deep gold with some red tint with a nice white head.

Nose is okay, definitely corn forward with some citrus behind it.

Taste is a pale malt base that has a corn chip influence. Hopping brings some grapefruit. Not getting any notes of tropical flavors. Finishes with a pine balance hop; 6/10 on my bitterness scale.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied and refreshing.

Overall kind of an odd beer. The Fritos flavor in the background is not my kind of flavor anymore.
