Look...light yellow with a hint of haze and a wheat color. A medium level to high carbonation. white fine head
smell...grass citrus hop grainy fresh or rising bread smell. pleasant and light thus very good for the style
Taste,,, pleasant bitter off of the front with a bit of grass finish dry and dry and balanced. never cloying.
Feel...Light and phizzy, a lively nice carb leaving conveying a full flavor. Nice lacing
Overall...my first impression of this was very mixed but this is very well made and would try more from these dudes in this style. I believe the go the German way haha. Good stuff would gladly drink again

Bottle from tfontana, thanks for the trade.
Brilliant light golden color with a bubbly white head that persists.
Bready biscuity maltiness with bits of earthy spicy floral hops. Pretty nice Helles!

BB: 02/03/22
Consumed: 12/06/21
L: The beer pours a straw to pale gold color with good clarity. The pour results in a finger of white head with decent retention as it falls to a 3mm ring around the glass with a thin sheet of head in the middle of the glass. As the beer goes down it leaves a light spotty lacing on the glass.
S: Cereal grain and some honey bread crust mixing with a light herbal quality.
T: Bread crust and grainy malt accompanied by just a touch of sweetness which is quickly balanced out by earthy-herbal notes. The finish is clean with a nice light bitterness.
F: Medium body with medium carbonation. The mouthfeel is smooth with a nice dry finish.
O: I think the first few times I purchased this beer it was probably not in code as there were no born on or BB dates on the cans (this one is not exactly fresh either, but is still within the BB) This one has a completely different nose and the palate is much more intense. This is an excellent American interpretation of the style which checks all the right boxes. Nice presentation of the malt with jus the right amount (i.e. minimal) of sweetness that is subsumed by a bit of earthy hop bitterness. The hops also lend a nice touch of herbaceousness which complements the malt bill without overwhelming. The fermentation profile is clean and the finish has just the right amount of dryness to keep one coming back for another drink. This is a beer for all occasions. Highly recommended! Now I have to visit the brewery and get this fresh and on tap from the source.

NO bottle date
Pours a med frothy fizzy 1/2 finger head with med retention as well, a bit of lacing, mostly clear slight chill hazed straw golden pilsner color
Nose is quite nice, lots of the grainy-sweet cereal malt, nice pilsner malt in general, even some of the malt depth that good German Helles beers have so I wonder if this was decocted, a touch of corn, rich grain, light floral noble hops
Taste brings more rich grainy-sweet pilsner malt, cereal grain, again some depth and complexity giving it that potential decoction character, touch of corn and bread dough, light to med bitterness up front with some herbal floral noble hops, dry crisp finish, I think a touch of sulfate adding to a bit more crisp bitterness that borders med bitterness, a bit more herbal floral hops lingering as well, a touch spicy
Mouth is med bod, soft crisp lager, med to a bit higher foamy carb
Overall this was fantastic! One of the best American made Helles beers I've had, right up there with Jack's Abby and Von Trapp (although not quite Hill Farmstead but who is). very well done, nailed the malts, hops were good, great lagering and probably decoction. I can't wait to try more from this brewery.

A: crystal clear; medium gold in color; with a fairly aggressive pour, a 1 finger whit head that receded to a wispy cap; nice lacing;
S: moderately sweet; grain and some spice;
T: follows the nose, but with less spice; mild bitterness on the finish;
M: medium bodied; moderate to high carbonation; moderately dry finish;
O: IMHO, a little too much sweetness;
