A: crystal clear; looks like watered down cola, but has really nice mahogany highlights if held to the light; 1 finger finely pored tan head that receded to a wispy cap; very nice lacing;
S: moderate roast with a bit of coffee;
T: moderate roast from start to finish; mild to moderate bitterness at the end;
M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; dry finish;
O: more roast than many dunkels, but very enjoyable;

Pours an effervescent copper/caramel with 3 fingers of sand colored head. Nice lacing slightly above average head retention
S: Brown bread & toastyness
T: Toastyness, a little dryness, leafy hops, a touch of caramel. Toastyness/dryness & leafy hops as this warms. Finishes dry, toast with leafy & woody hops
MF: Medium body, moderate carbonation
Solid Dunkel, easy to drink

Sampling a cold 12 oz can poured into my .5L dimple mug. The beer was purchased at the brewery about a week ago. Can is date stamped best before 05/05/2022.
The beer pours a clear mahogany color with a fluffy beige colored head of 2 cm. This foam fades to a sturdy complete surface covering and remains as such throughout the sampling.
The aroma is rich and malt forward with some toffee and dark bread notes, maybe a pumpernickel scent with a bit of a spicy hop note. Nose is appealing even if sort of mild.
First sip reveals a light to medium body with very fine and gentle carbonation that rolls easily across my palate. Slightly crisp texture bite on the finish.
Flavor is briefly toffee and rolls to a bit of toasted grain and dark bread. Again some mild spicy hop balance. No ABV anywhere and this beer drinks easy and is quite tasty. As to be expected from East Rock!

Poured from a 500 ml bottle purchased at the brewery into that big ole .5l mug!
A - Tawny colored, solid carbonation feeds a thick off white crown.
S - Warm brown bread, light brown sugar, caramel, lightly roasted malts
T - The aromatics do lead in here, with the addition of sweet raisin, and touch of toffee.
M - Light on the palate, sweet and nicely dry,
O - A very good Dunkel, well balanced and a pleasure to drink.
