This seems like it could be interesting
Pours a light fizzy head that fades quickly, no lacing, very hazy lemony-yellow-tan color
Nose brings some lemon zest, juicy lemons with a little cereal grain, a touch of tart acidity, lemony cereal, a light floral coriander like spice
Taste brings more juicy Meyer lemons with cereal grain, a bit doughy, raw sour dough and a little yogurt lacto creamy funk, light acidity, creamy doughy wheat with a little grist, hint of salt late, and a bit of coriander spice as well, drier finish but a touch flemmy and acidic,
Mouth is med to a bit lighter bod, med fizzy carb, creamy
Overall nice balance of fruit and base gose, I liked the Meyer lemon as it played nicely into the beer without overpowering, and didn't have some weird juxtaposition like many fruited gose beers do

When it's hot my go-to beer is a Hoegaarden, but this is my new essential summer brew (at least for as long as I'm in Connecticut). That's glowing testimonial especially considering I don't much care for fruit infused beers. This is a spicy white beer first, with a firm but very well positioned lemon kick that I find far superior to any hibiscus, dragonfruit or pear flavored drinks elsewhere on the shelf. That citric tang and acidity is absolutely cleansing, and leaves me feeling both refreshed and puckered, even as I slowly sweat in the humid New England air. Definitely in my top 3 beers from East Rock Brewing.
