A challenge to brew but a pleasure to drink, the Pilsner Project was created to highlight the nuanced flavors of German-grown hops balanced alongside a seasonally inspired malt character. Brewed a handful of times per year, each batch is designed with a featured hop to allow for a full expression of its flavor. A true passion project, we hope you enjoy these Pilsners as much as we enjoy making them.
Hallertau Blanc hops impart classic, noble hop qualities with a modern twist. Subtle notes reminiscent of a fruit-forward white wine including gooseberry, lemongrass and grapefruit lend a bright, refreshing quality while the use of imported malt and a cold fermentation produce a dry, snappy finish.

T: follows the nose for a moment, then white wine in the middle before a lemony-apple finish with mild to moderate bitterness;

Picked up this beer at the brewery date stamp is best by 5-17-2022. 16 oz can poured cold into my .5L dimple mug.
The beer pours a bright clear gold color with a fizzy bleached white head foaming up about 1 cm. This foam fades to a sturdy surface layer and is fed by several active streams of carbonation rise to the surface.
The aroma on this beer has some biscuity malt and a bit of floral hop and maybe some honey note as well. Pretty appealing nose.
First sip reveals a light and crisp textured body with fine prickly carbonation. The beer drinks easy and definitely stings my lips just a little.
Flavor is some biscuity malt and honey up front, which is followed by some floral and rindy hop character. This hop note is bitey on the swallow and lingers as part of a drying finish. Nice easy drinking flavorful pils. Glad to have tried this one!

Pours a bright & effervescent gold with 3+ fingers of eggshell colored head. Good head retention & lacing
S: Floral & bready notes
T: Dry, bready, grassy, slight sweetness up front, some soapy notes. Grainy & bready as this warms, along with flinty hoppyness & just a whisper of lemon & soap. Finishes bready, dry, soapy with little grassyness & lemon
MF: Light/medium body, delicate carbonation, nice balance
Rock solid Pilsner, easy to drink, Thanks Chris! ( sulldaddy )
