L: Pours a pale straw color with good clarity. The pour gives three fingers of fine, white head slowly falling to a 5 mm cap that persists as the beer recedes leaving a nice splotchy lacing on the glass.
S: Prominent mint notes, grassy notes, hint of spice, and light note of pilsner malt.
T: Earthy herbal and grass notes on the front mixing with grainy pilsner malt mid palate, and spicy floral notes on the back end and finish. This has a nice medium bitterness balancing out any sweetness coming through.
F: Light body with ample carbonation. The mouthfeel is smooth with a nice crisp finish and a pleasant dryness on the finish.
O: This one is very well done and another stellar entry in the Pilsner Project series. As usual the delicate malt backbone perfectly supports an expert presentation of the hop, here being Hallertau Perle. Highly recommended!
