Summer Wheat

A: slight haze; pale gold in color; 1 finger finely pored white head that receded to a wispy cap; light lacing;

S: slightly sweet wheat;

T: lemon zest and floral with a bit of spice toward the end; mild bitterness on the finish;

M: light to medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish; crisp;

O: refreshing; thirst quenching; makes you want to come back for another sip;

My first beer from this New Haven brewer. And it's a fairly pleasant, somewhat subtle summer refresher. The refreshment comes from a mild citrus bite (orange/lemon peel) with spice...(coriander/chamomile) yes, also mild...in support. Flavor is not robust, just enough to be interesting. But the big value here is in chilling down the summer heat.
