Crisp, fruity, and refreshing, this Pilsner is brewed with an abundance of German-grown Mandarina Bavaria hops, delivering a clean tangerine flavor with subtle hints of currant, rosemary, and gooseberry.

Beautiful mandarin nose and citrusy taste. Makes for a fantastic Summer Pilsner. Extremely refreshing.
I at first didn't think the orange terpenes would pair well with a Pils, but I was wrong.
This is summer in Pilsner form.
Very nice!

L: The beer pours a pale straw color with a light chill haze. The pour results in two fingers of fine, white head with good retention. As the beer recedes it leaves a mass of lacing on the glass.
S: Big notes of tangerine, a bit of citrus pith, delicate pale malts, tropical notes, and an almost imperceptible touch of herbal, earthy spice.
T: I get a goodly amount of citrus flesh mixing with tropical notes and some bitter citrus pith, berry notes, grainy pale malt, and light earthy bitter herbal notes mixing with a restrained peppery noble spice. There is no residual sweetness and on balance has a pleasant low bitterness.
F: Light to medium-light body with medium carbonation. The mouthfeel is smooth with a nice dry finish.
O: East Rock’s pilsner project continues to hit home runs. Another great hop showcase complemented by an expertly crafted, but unobtrusive, malt bill. Highly recommend!
