On tap at brewery:
Pale golden, clear body. Medium to thick white ring doesn’t provide much lacing.
Decent mix of grassy hops and cereal and bready malts, with a little bit of a yeasty aspect coming through.
Pretty clean, more malty taste than I expected from the nose. There’s a light fruitiness added to the grain bread opening. There’s a little less grass, though a compensatory peppery spice note is noted. This bite lingers and starts to feel like added ABV after a while (it is a bit high octane fir the style).
The bite in this beer bothered me more as I neared the end. I think if this had a bit lower OG, it would help my enjoyment.
