On tap at brewery:
For a pastry stout, it tastes a bit bitter, which would be fine but it is also a little metallic / astringent up front. The back end brings roastiness, along with some caramel and coconut to evoke the GS cookie, but it is a bit little and late. Things did improve with warmth, smoothing out and shedding a bit of the astringency.
On the other side of things, the nose is more on point, and if it translated to the taste a bit more, this would get some higher marks from me.
