500 ml can Southville Deli, Bristol - Pours jet black with a large foamy tanned head. Warning - Don't pour a little and turn your back as the can may act like Vesuvius spilling the beer. Nice lacing. Medium carbonation. Aroma - Roasted coffee, light citrus notes, green hop overtones. Taste - Sweet forefront, hint of citrus, roasty middle, dry, lingering bitter finish. Apart from the pour issues, good well balanced black IPA.
