Our flagship IPA delivers lush tropical and stone-fruit flavors in the New England-style. Substantially hopped with Amarillo, Mosaic, Simcoe and Citra, this dragon somehow remains light on the palate with hops and malt perfectly in balance. Not charted on any map, beware matey!

16 oz pour on draught at the brewery. Served in a plastic cup. A dense, murky orange color with a small, ecru-colored cap and lacing. The nose is huge with tangerine, pineapple, lemon, and a whiff of red berry. It’s a citrus bomb with bold flavors of lemon, grapefruit, tangerine, peach, and berry over a sturdy cracker malt base. There is mild, clean bitterness throughout. The mouth feel is thick and plush with low/moderate carbonation. This batch has an ABV of 6.7% Overall, it’s a solid flagship NEIPA.

Tasted from a crowler filled at the Apex, NC, taproom.
L - Looks like a cloudy, straw-colored milkshake. Good, fluffy white head.
S - Citrus and tropical fruit hops. Light bready malt. Clean and fresh impression.
T - Matches aromas. Balance of the flavors heavily favor hops over malt.
F - Medium to heavy body has a sticky mouth-coating quality. Spritzy carbonation. Strong hops bitterness but not burning hot. Light alcohol presence.
O - A good NEIPA. No flaws and no complaints!

Juicy, hoppy, a well-made IPA! Delicious and perfect for a summer evening BBQ...or after a winter ride to the brewery.
