I am pleased to give this beer its first rating on BA. I was skeptical when the bartender (maybe the brewer?) said this was a west coast DIPA. I've poured too many "west coast" IPAs over the last year only to see them as hazy juice bombs. This however, started off with a beautiful pour. Mostly clear amber color with thick off-white fluffy head. No haze! Nose of sweet malt with hints of tangerine, grapefruit, and perhaps overripe cantaloupe, Perfectly smooth mouthfeel. Like silk. The malt and cantaloupe lead the way on the palate, with hop bitterness on the back end to balance it out. 8.2%. Delicious. This was my first beer from Milford Point Brewing in CT. Impressed.
