This is our tribute to a classic German Schwarzbier. Don’t let the color fool you, it’s light on the palate, and full of flavor. Notes of coffee and roast, with enough German noble hops to round out the malt profile.

Thanks to Dimidiata for this one. 16oz can (dated 8/19/22. I've had it sitting around since November) poured into 16oz tulip. Poured a nice, almost solid, black color with an inch of tan head that had moderate retention and light lacing.
The aroma was nice base grain, very light roast, and some gentle floral hops. On the tongue, the roast was notably stronger, but didn't dominate over the rest of the beer. The grain and hops held their ground nicely.
The body was light and smooth, with a semi-dry finish. Drinkability was very nice, an easy quaff. Overall, a very nice and enjoyable beer. Certainly worth trying if you see it.
