Aged on oak, this Imperial Stout has notes of roasted malt and coffee with woody almost mossy finish. Bold with a dry and slightly sweet finish.

16oz can. Bottom stamp reads 'CANNED ON 11/21/23'.
Black colored body, with a very thin mahogany back lit edge. Two fingers of tan head, which collapses to an interrupted cap and high ring. Leaves behind partial horizontal rings and scattered spots of lacing.
Aroma of roasted malts, vanilla, and oak. Malts express chocolate and coffee, with a touch of molasses.
Taste is sweet and bitter, with the bitterness winning out at the end. Flavors of brown sugar, blackstrap molasses, roasted malts, vanilla, and oak. Reminder of black licorice and citrus. Presents dark chocolate and creamed coffee. Sweetness keeps the bitterness in balance until the very end, and the bitterness continues into the lingering aftertaste.
Mouthfeel is thin and creamy at the same time. Passes through the mouth quickly, with a dry finish. Good carbonation.
Adjunct free stout with a dry oak massage. Good pairing with a cheesecake.
