Medium bodied beer with a hint of chocolate and roasted flavor. Brewed with locally roasted hazelnut, coconut, and pecan blended coffees.

Looks like a real porter. Coffee and pecan are the dominate notes. Fairly highly carbonated with a watery feel. I'll probably pass on my next purchase. That's the reason for this review.

Had this porter on tap at a local restaurant in Florida. Very surprised that a brewery I’ve never heard of (I live 50 miles away) is putting out this good beer. The look was a dark tan with a thin layer of foam. Smell of coffee and nuts (pecan more than hazelnut). Taste was spot on for what I like in a nut brown porter. The coffee and slight chocolate flavors hit your palette up front and the nuttiness lingers on the back end. The mouthfeel is almost perfect. It’s a little thin for a porter and drinks more like a brown ale which is fine because it goes down easy and is somewhat refreshing. Overall an excellent beer.

Look: Very dark brown and opaque. Half a finger of off-white head with poor retention.
Smell: Roast mocha.
Taste: Roast coffee, dark chocolate, and an earthy finish with very mild bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Slightly thin, with high carbonation.
Overall: A tasty, if standard, coffee porter.

A not-so-much-in-your-face coffee porter...
...And for that I was very appreciative. I've found many of the coffee-flavored beers I've had, whether porters or stouts, are just a punch in the face of black coffee. This one, however, is muted, light even - and I like that. Nice black look, light on smell of the coffee to go with the taste, and the mouthfeel is, well, lightly creamy but with a hint of wateryness...Anyway, a solid beer and a solid offering for the style.

Opaque dark, tan head recedes to a ring, no lacing; mild aroma, not much smell; Mouthfeel is smooth and moderately carbonated; The taste is mild; Not bad, a pleasant porter.

12 oz can with a 25 February 2019 date stamp on the bottom.
Tall, foamy beige head over a dark brown body with ruby highlights.
This is a well balanced coffee porter with both dark roasted grains and coffee evident in about equal measure. The nutty aroma, suggesting pecans, is particularly fine. Some coconut appears in the flavor.
Medium body with lively but soft carbonation.

Pours a dark brown with a nice thick mocha head that slowly recedes. Fantastic hazelnut and coffee aroma. Flavor is nutty, coffee, some coconut, roasted malt, great hazelnut finish that lingers. Good carbonation. There is a tartness on the finish that strikes me as odd. Light bodied and very drinkable. Overall I am glad I picked this one up. Delicious.

I had this one on tap in a pint glass. The color is of deep dark brown with little head. The hazelnut aroma mixed with coffee are the stars here. The flavor matches perfectly with the aromas emanating from the glass. I would go back to this one again.
