Pours a muddy brown with a heavy orange tint. Head is a finger of off-white foam that retains well. Aroma is ripe with initial citrus before diverting into herbal, grassy, piney hops. Malts, which are well-covered by hops, come through as bready. Flavor profile is even stickier, hitting notes of resiny, herbal, grassy hops with a considerable amount of residue at the end. Malts are bready and grainy, but an after thought to hops. Mouth feel is medium-thick with a smooth, consistent effervescence. Overall, sticky and gritty, this IPA has an abrasive and firm side, a contrast to the 'juicy' IPAs of the world.
