Pours a dark orange with a heavy haze to the translucency. Head is three fingers of white foam, with good retention. Aroma is pine, resin, herbal, and minor tropical fruits. It leans more into sticky hops than sweet. Bready malts underneath. Flavor profile is resin, herbal, and minor pine hops. Faint tropical fruits underneath add some sweetness. Balance is brought by bready, and light nutty malts. Mouth feel is medium-thin with a consistent light effervescence throughout that bubbles up just on the tip of the tongue. Overall, a steadfast, straightforward IPA.
Served in a 15.5oz Spiegelau tulip from a 16oz can.

Hazy copper color with a respectable foamy off white head and some decent lacing.
The aroma is caramel malt, citrus and a hint of pine.
The taste is also caramel malt up front, grapefruit and tangerine. The finish is dry with lingering grapefruit zest and pine resin moderate bitterness.
The body is medium, good carbonation level, smooth and very drinkable.
Altogether, this is a tasty refreshing brew, a nice example of American IPA, west coast style.
