Red Rye IPA

Pours a red burgundy-brown with a heavy haze to the translucency. Head is two fingers of khaki foam. Aroma is plump hops with pops of grass and pine. Bready and caramely malts underneath. Flavor profile is grassy, piney, and minor herbal & resin hops. Malty caramel and bready shine through with a little late molasses poking through for sweetness. Mouth feel is medium in thickness. Texture is soft with a semi-fuzzy texture. Not quite crisp nor is it decadent enough to be comforting, landing somewhere in the middle. Overall, great depth with prominent hops on the front.
