Sticky Bun Imperial Stout
Our latest dark creation conceived with our mega-talented bakery friends at Auspicious Baking Co. We brewed the smoothest stout imaginable and let it nap on a LOT of Vermont maple syrup, toasted pecans, cinnamon, and brown sugar. It's amazing.

Had Bunz at Two Tides taproom, Savannah, on draft into regrettable pint "can" glass.
Pours absolutely black with 1/2-finger dark-tan head, which dissipates quickly to nothing, leaving nothing. Aroma of roast malts to start, then mild cinnamon and bread notes. Not as much going on as you would expect from a pastry stout, but I like better for that, as it begins sweet and grainy, soon joined by cinnamon, before roast malts and a bit of hop bite bring off a still-sticky but dry enough finish.
