Our second release with DSSOLVR and our first Barleywine! We took an English approach and mashed loads of maris otter malt with a few specialties and a balanced hopping, fermented with our house English ale yeast, and conditioned on oak. Packaged in 8oz slims for your petite enjoyment.

Had Only Never poured from 8-oz. can, no date, into snifter.
Pours deep rusty orange with 1/2-finger very light-tan head, which dissipates to a persistent ring, leaving a few specks of lace. Big continuing aroma of stone fruit, pear and peach, and mild caramel. Begins with a bit of carbonation bite, then eminently smooth, creamy, and fruity, before a nice biting but fruity finish, with the alcohol finally showing as warms.
A smooth, fruity couldn't possibly be 10% Barleywine.
