Our second ever barleywine is ready for your enjoyment, laced with flavors of sweet berry wine, rich maris otter barley, complementary bitterness and a certain stone fruit-citrus top note. It’s a touch on the sweeter side of life.

Had You Talk Too Much poured from slim 12-oz. can, from 4-pk. carrier labeled "PKG" on "03/06[/23]," into snifter.
Pours amber-orange with clarity and less than 1/2-finger light-tan head, which quickly dissipates completely, leaving no lace. Aromas of sweet but bright citrus, herbal hops and mild caramel malt off pour, with the citrus continuing, soon joined by rich, nutty malt aromas, and as warms florals and a hint of tart stone fruit (apricot?) aroma, all mildly and pleasantly continuing. On tasting, begins sweet, smooth caramel malt, with straight orange citrus, leading into richer, nutty malt flavors, and an herbally-crisp, eventually warming alcohol finish.
A classically deceptive English Barleywine, richly malty and easy-drinking, as the alcohol gradually builds in back.
