collaboration with cerebral, neat partnership from two breweries i now realize i like a lot after spending some time at two tides, what a rad spot! this is a solid and modern hazy, a little fuller and bigger to me in both hop intensity and body than their new zealand focused psyche, which i loved. very hazy and starchy looking, super pale, fizzy though and active, dry and interesting, also with somewhat of a fruity new zealand profile, but less distinctive and unique than the psyche, nice and fresh though, key lime, coconut, and snappy green grape notes to me, a kiss of vanilla or something, and definite wheat malt and maybe raw wheat too, well grounded, not sweet to me or toasted or anything, very basic in a good way on the grain side. the flavor is consistent with the nose, some juicy ripe stone fruit hits, along with just a touch of vegetal greenness, not unpleasant, and not bitter. preserved lemon, honeydew, and dry cereals. this could use a little more carbonation to go with the fresh and vibrant hop character, it sags a little in feel to me. nice hop profile though, relatively complex, somewhat yeasty to me at the end as it warms up, and overall very in line with other hazy ones ive had from cerebral in the past. very tasty and contemporary.
