It really reminds me of a smoothie. It isn’t even a real beer. Bright orange. Tastes of…. Orange. It’s sour but not crazy sour. I probably wouldn’t buy another.

i guess i didnt realize this is a rotating series that always features almond and marshmallow and vanilla and then some combination of fruits, pretty cool concept and base beer, and i love that the almond can be fully appreciated, super cool touch in a style that often runs samey, this stands apart because of it. deep ruby red color with high saturation and a short fizzy head from the draft that is almost just as red, a little dense but really bright looking, impressively vibrant in terms of color! the nose and taste are impressive, bold as heck and super modern, but way way better than most of its peers, like to an almost shocking degree. yes this is sweet, yes its over fruited by just about any standard, and yeah, its probably puree, but its also really good. the vanilla isnt too much, the marshmallow does add a cool textural element, and the fruits go so well together, mouthwatering tart cherry in front of the others, but homemade jam vibes to the strawberry and a nice piquant thing from the raspberries too, which seems like the most natural of them. the souring here is clean and not overdone, lemony and enhancing, cutting some of the pulpy heft this has and brightening it. i like the freshness it pops with, i love the natural almond woven through it, and i dont mind how intense it all tastes, its unique and delicious. this is, as they say, what the kids are drinking these days, but its a top performer in a somewhat annoying style space and it was hard to not be impressed sipping on it. two tides is absolutely awesome!
