Anniversary IPA. Year 6 baby! The official 6yr anniversary IPA is here. As usual it was brewed with our favorite hops from the last year, Simcoe and Nectaron!

Had Six poured from slender 12-oz. can, from 4-pk. holder labeled "PKG" on "05/08[/24]," Father's Day gift from daughter, into tulip pint.
Pours hazy but bright grapefruit juice-gold, with huge bubbly near-white head, with excellent retention, leaving chunky rings of lace down the glass. Aromas of sweet citrus, pine and bitter herbals off pour, then the sweet citrus and pineapple aromas take over, joined by peach aroma as warms. On tasting, begins sweet grapefruit with herbal bitterness over a light, fruit-juice body, which reveals some mild but definite malt flavor, and sweet pineapple, before the citrus-crisp, tangy stone fruit, herbally-bitter, mildly resinous, but very drying finish.
A lot to love about this NEIPA, except (or including?) the dry, bitter finish that will propel you westward before you are done. Maybe this beer should be called Flyover Country.
