Poured from a pint can into a pint glass. A one finger caramel colored head sits upon a coal black body of beer. Minimal lacing as the beer is consumed. The aroma of chocolate, malts, licorice and a bit of smoke on the nose. The first sip is about the malts, with that licorice and chocolate coming thru, finishing with a little hops bitterness. Tasty new stout from Housatonic!
