A rich and luscious RIS. Incredibly drinkable for its high ABV, this beer is left to ferment a little longer to give it a cool, smooth finish while maintaining its depth of flavor.

Upon pouring, this beer is very dark chocolate. In a PBGC Malti pint glass it is black (SRM 40). There is no head and a thin, fine lace.
It opens sweet with char-roasted malt. This is followed by lots of black coffee, then dark chocolate. Slight fruitiness lives in the background. Warmth brings out a touch of burnt rubber.
Flavor is dominated by strong roasted malt and light sirloin steak. Sweet dark chocolate presents itself late and is followed by black coffee in a seemingly endless strong finish.
The body is simultaneously full and thin, due to the light, silky texture. Carbonation is light while alcohol is present below expectations. Residual sugar collects on the lips.
This is a luscious stout which I enjoyed after a full day of raking. It would pair well with a steak or in a vanilla ice cream float.
