Coconut is added at multiple times during the brew process to provoke layers of coconut in this beer. You end up with a roasty brown ale with hints of coffee and caramel topped off with roasted and raw coconut for a rich balance that will knock your socks off. A brown ale with a hint of the tropics in it!

A one-inch, chestnut head produces fine lace on the walls of a PBGC "Sparkles" Mug. The beer is a very dark copper/brown. The head falls to one-half inch, then slowly fades to a ring, leaving no real lacing.
Sweet malt notes lead to faint coffee, mocha, and very lightly toasted coconut. Warmth allows the toasted coconut to build throughout the session.
Nice dark chocolate plays well with coconut flavors. While fairly sweet with light bitterness, neither is particularly prominent. Almonds are apparent in a long, mild finish.
A medium body works well with the hard, rough texture of this Brown Ale. The alcohol is slightly higher than expected, and the carbonation is fine.
Brown Ales are, in my opinion, made to be enjoyed during casual conversation. This one meets that purpose very well and would easily fit into one's schedule after work.

This one pours a dark brownish color, with a small white head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like toasted and sweet coconut cream, vanilla, maple, chocolate milk, and caramel.
This is really nicely done. It's definitely a little sweet, but it works well anyway. The coconut has a sweet creamy character to it, toasty and rich, with some maple and caramel from the base brown ale. There's a bit of roast, breadiness, etc, but there's not enough to balance things out.
This is creamy, and medium bodied, with a sweet and smooth finish.
This is an enjoyable little beer. The base brown ale could be better, but the coconut is done quite well.
