On tap at Rising Storm Brewing in Avon, NY.
This one pours a super hazy and chunky looking dark orange color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This is mostly mango on the nose - drippy and juicy mango, with just a touch of guava, and no coconut or sour IPA character on the nose.
I don't really get any IPA characteristics on the taste either, but that's kind of a common thing for me with pastry sour IPAs. I'd want a bit more coconut, for a more varied taste, but the guava and mango are certainly done well, and done very boldly. This is very much in the melted smoothie sour vein. It's not my ideal beer, but I still think it tastes pretty good.
This is thick, chewy, and very drinkable, and doesn't really drink at all like a beer.
I with this a bit more sour, and you could taste a bit more of the base beer, but it's definitely tasty.
