On tap at Rising Storm Brewing in Lakeville, NY.

This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells mostly chocolatey, with some roastiness.

There’s nothing particularly noteworthy here, it’s just a standard but well done porter, with the required chocolate, coffee, and roasty flavors. There’s a nice balance between sweet and roasty, the body is not too big, and not too thin, and it just sits right in the middle.

This is pretty drinkable, with a smooth and clean finish.

This is like most Rising Storm beers – competent, well-brewed, and not the most exciting.
