Lost Sanity Brewing

Located on the main street with a storefront and recessed front door, and display windows . Street parking. Glass windows only at the streetside. Narrow and long interior, with the bar and ordering station on the right side, toward the rear. View of the brewing equipment at the back of the room. Dark colored ceiling tiles above, blue painted walls, and a vinyl wood panel floor. Strings of LED hanging lights. Seating at the bar, low and high tables, and several adjoining tables in the middle make up a community table. Looks to be sixteen taps offering a good selection of styles. Coolers have cans to go. No TV but has a good sound system. Friendly and capable staff. Watering hole for regulars and locals.

Store front is inconspicuous as a brewery. Large sign clarifies. I went during their opening weekend and they opened with four beers; Botched Lobotomy Brown Ale, Catatonic Cream Ale, Hopzophrenia IPA, and Personality Disorder Porter. I thought the porter was a little average and lacking a little in flavor. The cream ale tasted like how I would expect a cream ale to taste. The brown ale went down smooth and was definitely my favorite of theirs so far. The ipa had a good balance of malt flavor and hops and was a close second. The inside atmosphere is welcoming with plenty of table space, two single person bathrooms, and large bar top. They sell growlers and growlettes. They have 2 more beers planned in the near future; a schwarzbier and a double IPA. I am looking forward to going back.
