"Aloha," as the Hawaiians say. Laurent wanted this characterful white beer to transport you straight to the sandy beaches of this Pacific marvel! Bitter, citrusy, with notes of passion fruit and lychee, all you have to do is raise your elbow to taste this exotic delight.

Paris 3/4 2026. 33 cl bottle from MonoPrix, Rue la Boëtie, Paris 8e. Very serious looking label. White with horizontal stripes in dark red and army green. Looks a bit like the cover of a math book.
Pours opaque murky, slightly dirty, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Bubbly. Settles as thin puddles of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Almost no lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of wheat malt, sugar and lemonade. Light tart notes. Lime and citrus. Hints of butter.
Rather strong carbonation. Thin, oily, soft yet lively and lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a quite strong sweetness followed by a light sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a light tart undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Fresh and pretty simple.
