Appearance: Clear dark gold, good head.
Smell: Smoky ham, a little sweetness.
Taste: Mild bready sweetness, then a nice moderate smoked ham flavor. Mild/moderate smoke remains through the finish, with maybe a hint of citrus. Medium-light bodied, easy drinking.
Overall: Saw that the brewery closest to my folks place had a smoked beer on tap and immediately stopped by during my visit home. This is a good, easy drinking smoked beer with solid but not overpowering smoke with the bonus of being on the lighter body side for easy drinking in this first HOT week of summer.
