Foam rose from the popped top, as did a scent of generic macro brew. After the initial introduction, I was smelling something closer to apricot and citrus, and it was fairly subtle. Pouring into the glass was a multi-attempt affair as the head kept growing back to the top of the glass like a medusa. Deep amber translucence remained once the foam collapsed. The round mouthfeel combined with a hint of carbonation made this almost too drinkable, like cream soda or root beer on a hot day. The taste was also subtle, citrus and apricot were still there, possibly a caramel passed by when it was being brewed. The citrus became a little more pronounced as I continued drinking, though not unpleasantly so.
