Poured from pint can into proper pint glass.
A: Pours a slightly hazy pale yellow hue with 3+ inch frothy white head with excellent retention.
S: Funky lemon and lime. Hints of tropical fruit.
T: Lemon and lime with less funk. Papaya and white grape. Mild pepper spice and bitterness.
M: Light-medium body. Soft feel. Moderately sharp funk and bitterness up front which mellows to delicate citrus and tropical fruit sweetness.
D: Nice expression of the Riwaka hop.

Poured from a refrigerated pint can into a 14-ounce tumbler. Copious head, very pale and very hazy. Hints of pine resin and citrus in the mild aroma. Typical IPA flavor isn't evident until the finish -- even then, hop bitterness is mild. Malt doesn't stand out either, citric/yeast sourness prevails.
It's not a bad ale, but more of a pale ale with high octane than an IPA. It reminds me of Dale's.
