Shiny dark brown to black with a puffy tan convex head that has nice retention. At least it's pretty.
This pumpkin porter has a sharpness to it that's bright and almost minty, with an oddly abrasive acidity. There's a very mild tobacco porter background with some of that pumpkin spice obviously detectable, but it's overall a little medicinal, metallic and even giving off mild notes of cherry. The light slick body has a bubbly but light carbonation and finishes semi-dry. I don't get any of the added marshmallow at all.
