Glowing Tang orange with almost no head at all.
All sorts of tangy fruit collide on the palate, with papaya coming in first, mango next, and pineapple minimally accenting. There's a bit of shortbread that somehow verges into a blueberry cobbler or streusel sort of character with even a hint of nougat, but the light body keeps this far away from decadence or pastry sour levels overall, bringing a tingly uplifting carbonation that finishes semi-dry.
Revisiting this a couple days later, it continues to strike me how uniquely the papaya influences this beer in a way I haven't experienced elsewhere, with a sort of nutty, almost softly creamy background funk to it. I've never been a huge papaya fan when it comes to the whole fruit, but I like it in this beer.
