Chill hazed then lightly sparkling weathered gold with a tall white head that quickly settles to a fine but soft film leaving some fluid lacing on the glass.
A nice mild bite of bitterness with a little bit of a sting consisting of herbal notes introduces a medium body with a filling, expandingly soft carbonation that comes to a semi-dry. These hops are paired with a light hint of toasted corn nuts before coming back with hints of pine and cologne. Touches of wheat and hay come out on the exhale as it warms. The batch I had in 2022 added a little more complexity with a touch of allium.
A great pairing with the barbecue Cult Kitchen started offering on Mondays and Tuesdays during the Fall of 2020. Which they've unfortunately stopped doing in 2022, although the chips they started making, which rival the chips of Fat Head's old, are a fantastic substitute.
