Muddy black with mahogany edges and relatively no head after the khaki blanket dies out.
The aroma actually has a little hickory smoke character to it, almost as if it's got a barrel component. It's very savory, and not emulating much if any banana at all (as the yeast was marketed to do here).
Quite bold and mature with a mildly bubbly carbonation, the thick body is a little sticky in the finish, exhaling roast cacao and a touch of rum soaked vanilla.
