Clear orange-amber with minimal head that quickly settles to a bubbly chain. Yep, it's a "golden" stout.
I didn't know, or remember, what the added flavors were at first. It started with vanilla and shortbread malt, but quickly verged into spice and herb that threw me off guard. However, it became easily identifiable as mint chocolate chip shortly after. The peppermint isn't too spicy or overpowering, but it definitely makes itself known.
The medium body is softly fluffy yet effervescent, finishing semi-dry.
