Opaque lipstick mauve-pink with a short white head dying off to a thin ring leaving a few wobbly arms of lace.
Very sticky sweet, and similar to their other pastry sour, this also has that maple donut flavor. While it's not something I'd typically associate with lactose or marshmallow, and it's not offensive, it's unexpected. It's not an acrid or cloying sweetness, but it's formidable. As such, the fruits are kind of muddled, just sort of present like tart bush fruits with maybe a hint of herbal apricot on the nose and exhale, but that's it.
The medium body has a somewhat thick feel with a fine carbonation struggling to cut into a slightly drier finish than the otherwise sticky-seeming flavor would impress.
Damn, we should have saved this one for dessert. It reminds me of their jiu-jitsu jelly donut brew, but a tad tastier and thicker.
