Damn near opaque, the acorn reddish-brown body builds a short and uneven but persistent khaki blanket.
I dunno...I just don't think they're taking the right steps with their barrel aging. While I enjoyed the unaged base, this just seems like an entirely different style, as it's not even close to coming across as the assertive American version it once was. It's even a bit caramel apple-ish, while also rubbing me the wrong way with barrel qualities that translate as peppery and pickled.
