This sour IPA presents lightly foggy pale yellow with a puffy white head leaving fluid, drooping spikes over a curled collar.
While it has that distinct nutty papaya nose, it's a little like adult Smarties in taste. An unusual combo that's both light and tart, bitingly dank and sweetly fruity, and yet all mildly so in every aspect, it features characteristics that are somewhat like passion fruit and mango, including the aspirin quality you sometimes get in mango IPAs from breweries that don't nail this sub-style like MCBC usually does.
The medium-light body has a fine froth and finishes lightly wet and even semi-sticky.
This one didn't work like the last few fruited IPAs they've done. Perhaps making it a sour IPA on top of all that is what did it in.
