Opaque pureed salmon vomit with a short off-white blanket. Hey, it's almost exactly the color of Vigo's river, so...bonus points?
While dank and resinous up front--where the raspberry, too, presents itself--it all combines to a fairly aspiriny sharpness that isn’t quite chalky but is far too biting for me. It’s hard to put down.
As it warms, (because I let it sit in favor of a changeup pour), it seems to develop a wholly unexpected overripe peach quality. This was actually more attractive than the up front experience, but I don't often drink warm NEIPAs.
