Dark glossy black with a dark tan head. What's this, what this?! Is that Jack in the head film?
Wow, the mint here actually seems more herbal and leafy--as if straight from our backyard--than some of the more stingingly potent takes on mint stouts I've had lately. It's an unusual accent to this roasty, tobaccoey stout, but it's also a decent take. A little more dark chocolate emerges as it warms, transforming the overall flavor into something pretty close to Andes candies.
