8 ball black with minimal to no head quickly dispersing to a fine chain.
Exhibiting more barrel than I was expecting, some nice chars pair with the coffee to create a mocha effect while a little touch of alder-like wood adds an unusually toasty and earthy but unique accent I think plays with the vanilla bean. As I re-read the ingredients, I think the hazelnuts are also in part contributing to that woodiness, but they don't impart the usual flavor profile I tend to expect out of them.
The slick medium-light body is fairly crisp, finishing warmingly semi-dry.
The overall experience seems to change fairly drastically as it warms over a session. I'd like to revisit this in a month or two.
