Quite dark, it teases foggy but is crystal clear up close, displaying a mix of dark brown and red under a short, surprisingly white head of very fine microbubbles.
Quite expressive of liquid bread, the malts give wheat, pumpernickel, Brazil nut--just all the whole grain--while a very minimal tang in the background perhaps exhibits a bit of plum skin.
The medium body has a softly fine froth and finishes paper dry.
