Clear but sort of oily pale bronze, somewhat like a glass of castor oil might appear, with a short white head.
At first a bit tangy and unusually pungent, perhaps hinting at plum, it immediately swerves into more classic corn nut with a grassy, herbal bite of old German hoppage.
Roundly crisp and semi-dry, it's pretty drinkable in the middle, but that pungency does resurface after the swallow, making another sip not quite as inviting as you'd want.
